After several false starts and inconsistent efforts at keeping a blog presence, I am re-establishing this as my blog. Here I will consolidate my less formal writing and commentary on the history of the United States, American law, Music, and various other topics - including current affairs. I hope you will join me, add me, read the blog, and in general get something other than a waste of time out of it.
